[에너지신문] 01 February 2016 - According to preliminary statistics released by the British Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), the United Kingdom installed more than 3.3 GW of solar PV capacity during 2015, reaching an installed PV capacity of 8,667 MW at the end of December 2015. This represents a 62% increase compared to late 2014.

Capacity accredited under the Renewables Obligation (RO) stood at 4,001 MW across 15,582 installations, representing 46% of total solar capacity, and 2% of all installations. Capacity eligible for Feed in Tariffs (FITs, i.e. MCS, ROO-FIT and RO to FIT transfers) stood at 3,773 MW across 823,045 installations. This represents 44% of total solar capacity, and 98% cent of all installations.
