[에너지신문] India's largest power group NTPC installed 2,255 MW of power capacity during the fiscal year 2015-2016 (ending on 31 March 2016) and reached an installed capacity of 46,653 MW.
This year it commissioned 400 MW (unit 3 and 4) at its Koldam hydropower project in Himachal, 250 MW (unit 1) at its Bongaigaon coal-fired power project in Assam, 500 MW (unit 13) at its Vindhyachal coal-fired power project in Madhya Pradesh, 250 MW (unit 1) at its BRBCL Nabinagar coal-fired power project in Bihar, 195 MW at its Kanti unit 3 in Bihar and 660 MW at Mouda unit 3 in Maharashtra.
In addition, NTPC has 23 GW of projects in various phases of development, including 18 coal-fired power projects, 8 solar projects, 7 gas-fired projects, one hydropower project and eight joint venture projects.
The company aims to reach a generation capacity of 128 GW by 2032.
