[에너지신문] 01 February 2016 - Mozambique state-owned National Hydrocarbon Company (ENH) plans to give the final go-ahead for the LNG projects developed by Eni and Anadarko by the end of 2016. Both are expected to make a final investment decision this year.

The US$15bn Mozambique LNG project, developed by Anadarko (26.5%), Mitsui (20%), ONGC-OIL (16%), ENH (15%), Bharat Petroleum (10%), PTTEP (8.5%) and Oil India (4%), will exploit gas reserves from the Offshore Area 1 in the Rovuma basin (estimated at more than 75 Tcf or more than 2,100 bcm). The project would have a capacity of 12 Mt/year. First gas production is expected in 2020.

Eni is considering two LNG projects, a 2.5 Mt/year floating LNG (FLNG) plant, Coral, expected in 2019, and a 10 Mt/year onshore plant, Mamba, expected in 2021-2022. The project would be developed in partnership with CNPC, Galp Energia, ENH and Kogas.
