[에너지신문] 13 November 2015 - In a letter leaked to a British newspaper, the UK Energy Secretary acknowledged that the UK won't reach its EU legally binding renewable energy target of 15% of the UK's final energy consumption in 2020. According to the document, the UK should have a 50 TWh shortfall (central estimate) leading renewable energy sources to represent around 11.5% of UK's final energy consumption in 2020. However, the document mentions that the UK would be on course to achieve the goal of delivering at least 30% of the UK's electricity demand from renewables by 2020.
